Quick facts: The project was awarded to Mapna in 2003 and first machine was synchronized in Apr 2006 and the last in Mar 2007. The site is 37km from Tehran city and connected to the 230kV grid. Three steam sets are to be added to convert the facility to combined-cycle operation.
