Quick facts: The plant went commercial in May 2004 and was dedicated in Jul 2004. It cost about $260mn. Process steam is supplied to Voridian and the new plant allowed the Eastman Chemical subsidiary to shut down its coal-fired boilers. In Mar 2008, the plant won an EPA Energy Star CHP award.
