In Oct 2008, a company managed by Tenaska Capital agreed to acquire the plant from MACH Gen LLC.

Lawrence Location: IN Operator: NAES Configuration: 6 X 43-MW LM6000 gas turbines Operation: 2005 Fuel: natural gas, oil T/G supplier: GE EPC: Burns & McDonnell, PDC Harris, TIC Quick facts: Lawrence GS began commercial operation on 1 May 2005 on a 50ac site between Bedford and Mitchell in Lawrence County. The $90mn peaking plant is jointly owned by Hoosier Energy and Wabash Valley Power Association. Construction began in Sep 2003 and required about 350,000 manhours. The plant is connected to the local 161kV grid.

Michigan Power Location: MI Owner: Olympus Power LLC Configuration: 154-MW, 1+1 CCGT with 7001EA gas turbine CHP Operation: 1995-1996 Fuel: natural gas HRSG supplier: ERI T/G supplier: GE EPC: Frank Lill & Son Quick facts: Michigan Power is adjacent a Dow Chemical plant in Ludington. In addition to steam sales to Dow, electricity is sold to Consumers Energy Company under a long term power PPA. Originally developed by Destec and MBN Energy, divested in Apr 2000. Operated by Delta Power Services LLC.

Midland Cogeneration Venture Location: MI Owner: Fortistar LLC Configuration: 1,560-MW, 12+1 CCGT with GT11N gas turbines CHP Operation: 1990 Fuel: natural gas HRSG supplier: CE T/G supplier: ABB EPC: Duke/Fluor Daniel Quick facts: This is a unique industrial cogeneration project that involved repowering an unused T/G set built for the Midland NPP. Steam and electricity is purchased by Dow Chemical and electricity is sold to MS Energy under a long-term PPA. At completion and for some years thereafter, this was the largest CCGT plant in the world. MCV was originally invested by Consumers Energy (49%), El Paso Corp (38.5%), and Dow Chemical (12.5%). In Mar 2009, EQT Infrastructure and Fortistar signed a definitive agreement to acquire MCV from funds and other entities managed by GSO Capital Partners LP, Rockland Capital Energy, Dow Chemical Co, and other parties.

T/G supplier: GE EPC: Duke/Fluor Daniel Quick facts: The facility is owned by Nisource and sells steam to the adjacent BP Whiting Refinery. All electricity is sold on the grid.

Worthington Location: IN Operator: NAES Configuration: 4 X 43-MW LM6000 gas turbines Operation: 2005 Fuel: natural gas, oil T/G supplier: GE Quick facts: Worthington GS was completed in Jul 2000 by Williams Energy and acquired by Hoosier Energy in Jan 2003 for $55mn. It is located on a 20ac site adjacent to Hoosier Energy's Worthington Substation in Greene Co. The plant is connected to the local 138kV grid. A black-start diesel genset was installed at Worthington in 2004.
