Quick facts: The dam is owned and operated by the Hunter Water Corp and

plant cost A$300,000.

Quick facts: This dam is just below the junctionof the Murray and Mitta
Mitta rivers 16km from Wodonga. Construction started in Nov 1`919
and the dam was completed in 1936. It is named after Hamilton Hume
who led an exploration party to the area in 1824.
