Quick facts: Itapebi on the Rio Jequitinhonha was the largest plant completed in northeastern Brazil in 15yrs. The €180mn EPC contract was completed in 40mos, three months ahead of schedule. Annual production is expected to be 1.7 TWh. ABN Amro was the lead arranger on a R$200mn project loan for this facility.
