Quick facts: Jinshuitan is the first hydropower station in the
Oujkiang River cascade. Construction started in Oct 1981, the dam was
closed in Oct 1983, and the first unit went online in Apr 1987. The plant
is connected to the grid at 220kV. The total cost was RMB 554mn and
average annual output is 490 GWh.

Quick facts: Shitang is one of the Oujiang

Quick facts: This 105m dam on the Xin'An river is 465m long. It forms a
100km long reservoir. This is considered the first large-scale hydro
project with fully Chinese electromechnical equipment, although it was
built with Soviet assistance.
