Quick facts: This plant uses the water from the Po tributary the Dora
Riparia and is near Oulx. An intake canal sends the water into a 14km
tunnel which carries it to the Val Clarea basin. From here, a 4km pressure
tunnel and 1.3km underground penstock run to an underground powerhouse.
One of the sets is equipped with a pump allowing recharge of the Val
Clarea storage tank.
