Quick facts: This SHP is at the Witka weir in Niedowie creates a holding pond for the cooling system of the Turow coal-fired power station and supplies potable water for Bogatynia town. The earthfill dam was damaged by flooding in Aug 2010 and a ZL 57mn reconstruction effort is underway for completion in 2016. The new facility will have a concrete dam and fish ladder.
