Quick facts: The last power station in the Galloway scheme built between 1930 and 1936. This uses water from the River Ken, River Dee and River Doon with storage reservoirs at Loch Doon, Kendoon, Carsfad, Clatteringshaws, and Tongland. The modernist stations were designed by Sir Alexander Gibb.
