West Enfield

Quick facts: Bangor Pacific Hydro Associates financed and built this low-head hydro facility on the Penobscot River at West Enfield. The $40mn project was completed ahead of schedule and won the Maine Engineering Excellence Grand Conceptor Award. A half share in the project was later acquired by PPL Corp, which agreed to sell the stake to an Arc Light Capital affiliate in Jul 2009.
