Dluohe Strane Location: Czech Republic Operator: CEZ AS Configuration: 2 X 350 MW FPT Operation: 1996 T/G supplier: CKD, Skoda EPC: Energotis sro, Ingstav as Quick facts: Construction began in May 1978, but in the early 1980s, the authorities decided to hold up he project. In 1985, the design was modernized, and in 1989, it was decided to complete the project. At completion, this plant had the largest pumped-storage units in Europe. The site is 95ha.
