Quick facts: In Nov 2009, MARL Energia completed a 6-MW PV installation at MARL SA, a large wholesale food complex in Lisbon. This €31mn installation was reputed to be the world’s largest urban facility of its kind at completion. There are a number of investment funds with ownership stakes in MARL Energie.

Quick facts: The Moura project went online in Dec 2008. The 250ha site is in Amareleja near the Spanish frontier about 200km southeast of Lisbon. In 2009, Mitsubishi Corp agreed to acquire a 34% stake in the project from majority owner Acciona SA. The total project cost was >€261mn. Expected annual output is 93 GWh.
