Jinjie

Quick facts: Jinjie-1 went commercial on 30 Sep 2006 and is the first
Chinese power plant with a distributed control suystem (DCS) from an
indigenous supplier, in this case HollySys. The Jinjie plant is the
terminus of the north leg of the 500kV west-to-east transmission project.
The Jinjie coal resource base in Shenmu County is estimated to be 525mn
tons and annual coal burn by Jinjie 1-4 is expected to be 10mn tons. China
Development Bank provided Rmb2,776mn to support the Jinjie project. A
third phase at the plant is planned with two more 600-MW sets.

enterprises as well as the Shenmu-Suozhou electrified railway.
