Jinjie
Location: Shaanxi

Quick facts: Jinjie-1 went commercial on 30 Sep 2006 and is the first Chinese power plant with a distributed control suystem (DCS) from an indigenous supplier, in this case HollySys. The Jinjie plant is the terminus of the north leg of the 500kV west-to-east transmission project. The Jinjie coal resource base in Shenmu County is estimated to be 525mn tons and annual coal burn by Jinjie 1-4 is expected to be 10mn tons. China Development Bank provided Rmb2,776mn to support the Jinjie project. A third phase at the plant is planned with two more 600-MW sets.

Quick facts: The plant is owned by by Beijing Guohua Electric Power Corp and CLP Group. The plant is at the end of the Shaanxi grid near Shenfu Dongsheng Coal Mine and supports nearby enterprises as well as the Shenmu-Suozhou electrified railway.
