The units went online in Oct and Nov 2003, respectively, and the third boiler was commissioned in Jun 2005.

Quick facts: This plant has three CFB boilers and is in Funing EDZ in Yangcheng City. The units went online in Dec 2002 and Feb 2003, respectively. The third boiler was commissioned in Sep 2004. GCL has a 60% stake in the project.

EPC: Shanghai Power Erection No 2 Co Quick facts: This plant was originally invested by China Guodian Corp (51%), China Resources Power (Jiangsu) Co Ltd (25%), Jiangsu Guoxin Asset Management Group Ltd (20%). and Changzhou Investment Group Co Ltd (4%). The project was officially launched on 28 Jun 2003 and construction started on 15 Apr 2004. Unit-1 went commercial on 23 May 2006 followed by Unit-2 on 30 Nov 2006. Huaneng Jinling Location: Jiangsu Operator: Huaneng Power Inernational Configuration: 2 X 1,030 MW Operation: 2009-2010 Fuel: coal Boiler supplier: Harbin T/G supplier: Shanghai EPC: East China Electric Power Design Institute, Shanghai Power Construction Engineering Quick facts: Huaneng Jinling is jointly invested by Huaneng Power (60%), Jiangsu Guoxin Asset Management Group (30%), and Nanjing Investment Co (10%). The site is near the Yangtze in Qixia District, Nanjing City. Construction started on 29 Mar 2008. Unit-1 went commercial on 23 Dec 2009, followed by Unit-2 on 8 Dec 2010. Jiangsu Changshu Location: Jiangsu Operator: China Resources Power Holdings Co Ltd Configuration: 3 X 650 MW Operation: 2005-2006 Fuel: bituminous coal Boiler supplier: Mitsui Babcock Harbin Boiler Co T/G supplier: Harbin Quick facts: CR Power owns a 100% equity interest in the supercritical Changshu power plant. Construction started on 1 May 2003 and commercial operation was in Mar 2005, Jun 2005 and Jan 2006, respectively. Taizhou Location: Jiangsu Operator: Guodian Taizhou Generating Co Ltd Configuration: 2 X 1,000 MW Operation: 2007-2008 Fuel: bituminous coal Boiler supplier: Harbin T/G supplier: Toshiba, Harbin EPC: East China Electric Power Design Institute, Black & Veatch (owner's engineer) Quick facts: The first 1,000-MW USC set at Taizhou went commercial in late Dec 2007 and brought China Guodian's installed capacity to over 60 GW. This is the third 1,000-MW unit site in China and is designed for four units. The units have ESPs from Zhejiang Feida and FGD scrubbers from Guodian Longyuan. Germany’s KSB supplied 12 pumps turbine- and electric-drive boiler feed and booster pumps. The biggest turbine-driven pump set has a drive rating of 17,500 kW and generates a discharge pressure of up to 460 bar at a 210°C. Invensys Eurotherm supplied the T940X control system.
