The project was officially launched on 28 Jun 2003 and construction started on 15 Apr 2004. Unit-1 went commercial on 23 May 2006 followed by Unit-2 on 30 Nov 2006.

Quick facts: Huaneng Jinling is jointly invested by Huaneng Power (60%), Jiangsu Guoxin Asset Management Group (30%), and Nanjing Investment Co (10%). The site is near the Yangtze in Qixia District, Nanjing City. Construction started on 29 Mar 2008. Unit-1 went commercial on 23 Dec 2009, followed by Unit-2 on 8 Dec 2010. The USC untis have a design efficiency of 45.2%. The double steel chimneys are the first of their kind in China.

Quick facts: The first 1,000-MW USC set at Taizhou went commercial in late Dec 2007 and brought China Guodian's installed capacity to over 60 GW. This is the third 1,000-MW unit site in China and is designed for four units. The units have ESPs from Zhejiang Feida and FGD scrubbers from Guodian Longyuan. Germany’s KSB supplied 12 pumps turbine- and electric-drive boiler feed and booster pumps. The biggest turbine-driven pump set has a drive rating of 17,500 kW and generates a discharge pressure of up to 460 bar at a 210°C. Invensys Eurotherm supplied the T940X control system.
