Quick facts: Datang Fuzhou is in Linchucan District, Fuzhou City. The USC project was approved by the NRDC on 9 Jul 2013 and started construction on 23 Feb 2014. Unit-1 finished its 168hr test run on 29 Dec 2015. The plant connects to the Fuzhou 500kV Substation.

Quick facts: These are China's first USC, double-reheat units with steam conditions of 310 bar/600C/620C/620C. The plant had two 125-MW sets and was formerly known as Pingxiang, and was acquired by HPI from Jiangxi Invesment Corp in Oct 2008. Construction on the second phase began on 28 Mar 2013. Unit-1 went commercial on 30 Jun 2015 and Unit-2 followed on 24 Aug 2015.

Quick facts: This plant is in Yugan County, Shangrao City, and is jointly invested by China Guodian (51%) and Huainan Mining (Group) Co Ltd (49%). Construction started on 29 Jul 2004 and Unit-1 went commercial on 15 Mar 2007, followed by Unit-2 on 31 Jul 2007. The plant connects to the local 500kV grid. Two 1,000-MW sets are in planning.

Quick facts: In March 2008, J-Power, China Power Investment Corp, and Shenzhen Nanshan Power Station Co Ltd (NSRD) agreed to proceed with joint development for the Xinchang power plant in Nanchang City. This was China’s first USC project jointly developed with a foreign company. The RMB 5bn project was planned for joint investment by CPI 60%, NSRD 30%, and J-Power 10%. In 2011, NSRD sold its stake to CPI. Unit-1 went commercial on 14 Dec 2009 and Unit-2 on 14 Feb 2010. On 22 Jun 2009, Jiangxi Development and Reform Commission approved  the pre-feasibility report on the expansion project of Xinchang PP with 2 X 1,000-MW USC units.
