Quick facts: Arvali PC was incorporated on 21 Dec 2006 to build the Indira
Gandhi STPS in Jhajjar District. The project company is a JV of NTPC (50%),
Indrapastha Power Generation Co (25%), and Haryana Power Generation Co
(25%). The total estimated cost is Rs 8293.92 cr. The site is 2,231ac.
Water is supplied from the Jawahar Lal Nehru canal and from Jhajjar Sub
Branch feeder and coal linkage is with Mahanadi Coalfields. Unit-1 COD was
5 Mar 2011 within stipulated 44mos of investment approval. Power is to be
supplied in equal measure to Delhi and Haryana.

Quick facts:In Jul 2008, the Haryana government allotted development of this power station to CLP India for development, the Chinese company having outbid Lanco Infratech and Torrent Power with a proposed tariff of Rs2.996/kWh. The Rs6,500cr project has a 1,215ac site in Khanpur village, Jhajjar district. The foundation stone was laid on 10 Jan 2009 and the EPC contract was signed the following month. The plant will burn about 5.2mn tpy of coal from the North Karanpura Coal Fields in Jharkhand. About 90% of the output is to be sold to HPGC with the balance to other purchasers. In Oct 2009, the project SPV Jhajjar Power Ltd (JPL) reached financial close on Rs3,900cr of loans with a 15-bank consortium headed by IDBI Bank and including Allahabad Bank, Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Dena Bank, IDFC, India Infrastructure Finance Co (UK) Ltd (IIFCL), Oriental Bank of Commerce, PFC and PTC India Financial Services REC, State Bank of Mysore, State Bank of Patiala, State Bank of Travancore,and United Bank of India. Unit-1 was synchronized on 12 Jan 2012.

Quick facts: In Jan 2007, Haryana Power Generation issued an LOI to
Reliance Energy for EPC work on the Rajiv Gandhi TPP on a 989ac site at Khedar Village, Hisar Dist.
The following month the BTG order for two 600-MW units was placed. The
Rs4,512cr plant has fuel linkage with Mahanadi coal field. The first
unit was synchronized in Nov 2009 and went to full-load on 5 Apr 2010
thereby becoming the largest single generating unit in India.Unit-1 was declared commercial on 24 Aug 2010, followed by Unit-2 on 1 Mar 2011. Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Ltd
built two double-circuit 400kV lines and 400kV substations at Kirori and Fatehabad
to evacuate power from the new plant. The line to Fatehabad was charged in Jan 2010.
