Quick facts: In Jan 2002, PSEG Global agreed to
purchase an interest in the Skawina power plant, located 21km southwest of
Kraków. Plant electricity is purchased by three local distribution
companies and most of the thermal output is sold to the city of Kraków.
PSEG increased its interest to 75% in 2004. In May 2006, CEZ acquired PSEG’s interests in Elcho (89%) and Skawina (75%)
for €180mn.
