Quick facts: Boardman was authorized for construction on 27 Feb 1975 and produces about 20% of PGE's electricity. In Nov 2007, PGE said it would spend $300-400mn to retrofit the unit with new low-Nox burners and SNCR, a semidry FGD scrubber, and a baghouse to run in conjunction with the existing ESP. PGE owns 65% of the plant. The other owners are BA Leasing BSC LLC (15%), Idaho Power Co (10%),and Power Resources Cooperative (10%).
