Quick facts: Units 1&2 at this PS were built by Tomakomai Kyodo Power Co, a captive genco for a local aluminim smelting operation and a JV of Hokkaido EPC and Nippon Light Metal Co Ltd. Unit-3 was buit by the utility. When the smelter closed down, all the electricity was sold to Hokkaido EPC. Units 1&2 are retired. The stack is 170m tall.
