Altahullion Location: Co Londonderry Operator: B9 Energy O&M Configuration: 20 X 1.3-MW Operation: 2003 WTG supplier: Bonus Quick facts: This wind farm is between Dungiven and Limavady on a brownfield site and commercial peat bog. The project was commissioned in May 2003 and the entire output is sold to Energia.

Bessy Bell Location: Co Tyrone Operator: B9 Energy O&M Configuration: 10 X 500-kW V39 Operation: 1995 WTG supplier: Vestas Quick facts: This was Powergen’s first wind farm in Northern Ireland. It is located on Bessy Bell mountain, part of the Baronscourt Estate near Newtonstewart. The site had to be carefully designed because the area is known to contain highly-significant archaeological remains from the Bronze Age. Owned by E.ON UK Renewables.

Hunter's Hill Location: Co Tyrone Operator: ESB Wind Development Ltd Configuration: 8 X 2.5-MW N80 Operation: 2010 WTG supplier: Nordex EPC: RES Quick facts: This plant is near Fivemiletown and was purchased from RES in February 2009. It went online in Jul 2010.

Slieve Rushen Location: Co Fermanagh Operator B9 Energy O&M Configuration: 10 X 500-kW V39 Operation: 1995 WTG supplier: Vestas Quick facts: This Northern Ireland NFFO 1 project was developed by the Sean Quinn Group who own the project and the land. The site is 20km south of Enniskillen at Derrylin and overlooks the Sean Quinn quarry and cement works.
