Quick facts: This was Powergen’s first wind farm in Northern Ireland. It is located on Bessy Bell mountain, part of the Baronscourt Estate near Newtonstewart. The site had to be carefully designed because the area is known to contain highly-significant archaeological remains from the Bronze Age. Owned by E.ON UK Renewables.
