Quick facts: Beech Ridge is forest land owned by MeadWestvaco in Greenbrier and Nicholas counties.It was downsized by about 20 WTGs after legal rulings regarding possible impacts on the endangered Indian bat. A Jan 2010 settlement allowed construction to proceed. The Beech Ridge is connected to the gird via a 22mi, 138kV line.
