Colorado Green Location: CO Operator: Shell WindEnergy Configuration: 108 X 1.5 MW Operation: 2003 WTG supplier: GE Wind Energy Quick facts: This project is a 50:50 joint venture with PPM Energy Inc. Output is sold to Xcel Energy. ANZ and Rabobank arranged limited recourse financing for the wind park, which is on 11,840ac owned by 14 landowners. Goshen North Location: ID Operator: Ridgeline Energy LLC Configuration: 83 X 1.5 MW XLE Operation: 2010 WTG supplier: GE Wind Energy EPC: Mortenson Quick facts: This wind farm is sited on 11,000ac about 10mi east of Idaho Falls. The plant is a JV of Ridgeline and BP Wind and 90 MW are being sold to Southern California Edison under a 20yr PPA. Milford-I Location: UT Operator: First Wind LLC Configuration: 58 X Liberty 2.5, 39 X 1.5 MW Operation: 2009 WTG supplier: Clipper, GE Wind Energy EPC: RMT Inc Quick facts: The first phase of the Milford Wind Corridor project was opened on 10 Nov 2009 in Millard and Beaver counties. $376mn in construction financing was secured by lead arranger RBS working with joint lead arrangers Banco Espirito Santo, Banco Santander, BNP Paribas, CoBank, HSH Nordbank, KeyBank, Société Générale, and Credit Suisse. First Wind has a 20yrPPA with Southern California Public Power Authority on behalf of LADWP and the cities of Burbank and Pasadena. Spanish Fork Canyon Location: UT Operator: Wasatch Wind LLC Configuration: 9 X 2.1-MW S88 Operation: 2008 WTG supplier: Suzlon Quick facts: This project was built on land owned by Spanish Fork City and Strawberry Water Users Association plus a gravel pit owned by a private land holder. The site is connected though a 49kV line to the Spanish Fork Substation where the power is then provided to Rocky Mountain Power under a fixed-price, 20yr PPA. Each machine cost about $3mn.
