Quick facts: This was the first WTE plant in Norway and has been upgraded several times. The plant supplies hot water for district heating in the Oslo city centre and in Groruddalen. EPC: COWI, ETK, Jærentreprenør AS Quick facts: The Forus WTE plant is jointly-invested by IVAR (43 %), Lyse Neo (43 %), RYMI (3.5 %), DIM (3.5 %), IRS Miljø (3.5 %) and RFL (3.5%). Heat is supplied to Stavanger, Sandnes and Sola and, since Nov 2012, to Jåttåvågen. MSW througput is 110,000 tpy from 24 municipalities with a population of about 380,000. Trehørningen Location: Hedmark Operator: Eidsiva Configuration: 1 X 5 MW CHP Operation: 2011 Fuel: refuse Boiler/incinerator system supplier: Volund T/G supplier: Fincantieri EPC: BW Volund, Grontmij Quick facts: The Trehørningen plant is in Hamar.In Dec 2008, Eidsiva Bioenergi AS contracted Babcock & Wilcox Volund for this CHP. Alstom was hired for the flue-gas cleaning equipment. In addition to electricity, the plant supplies district heat and process steam to an adjacent factory. Design throughput is 9t of MSW/hr.
